Terms of Service

These terms set out how you may use TutorFlow and what you can expect from us. By using our service, you agree to these terms. We encourage you to read them and our Privacy Policy.

Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or using TutorFlow in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you and agree on your behalf. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

Use of the service

TutorFlow is for personal, non-commercial study support. You may not use it to cheat in exams, submit AI-generated work as your own where that is not allowed, or to harass, abuse, or harm others. You may not scrape, copy, or resell our content or technology. We may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe you have broken these rules.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must give us accurate information. We will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may close inactive accounts in line with our data retention policy.

Payment and subscription

Paid plans are billed as described at the time of sign-up (e.g. monthly or annually). Fees are in South African Rand unless stated otherwise. You may cancel in line with the plan terms; we do not normally refund partial periods. We may change prices with notice; continued use after the change means you accept the new price.

Intellectual property

TutorFlow, including the software, design, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors. You may use the service only as allowed by these terms. You do not get any ownership in our brand, code, or materials. Notes and content you create for your own study remain yours, subject to our right to operate and improve the service.

Disclaimers

TutorFlow is provided "as is." We strive for accuracy and safety, but we do not guarantee that answers are always correct or complete. Use the service as study support, not as a sole source for high-stakes decisions. We are not liable for how you use the information you get from TutorFlow.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TutorFlow and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (such as lost marks, lost time, or lost data) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim in connection with TutorFlow is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot lawfully exclude (e.g. in South Africa, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify TutorFlow and its team against any claims, costs, or losses that arise from your use of the service in breach of these terms or from your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and, for material changes, we will give notice (e.g. by email or in the product). Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of South Africa.
